“I always love and marvel at the wonderful combinations that nature gives us with a
myriad of colors and textures; each passing season greets us with an ever-changing
palette that is so inspiring. “

Marion has enjoyed the diversity of creating art at home and abroad where she taught
workshops drawing on her knowledge of human anatomy from working as a nurse and
midwife for 25 years. She has participated in many art exhibitions and has some of her
work in the UK, the Middle East, and the USA.
Marion creates paintings of Still life, Portraits and Landscapes.

“I especially love working in charcoals, allowing the anatomy of form to shine, using chiaroscuro that gives form to a flat surface”.

Marion completed her foundation training in art at the Fine Art’s League of Asheville and
is very happy to call Fairview her home.
