As a child I used to gaze at the stars (I still do) in wonderment and awe of the natural beauty of the heavens. Now I gaze at the beauty of our natural surroundings, the colors, the textures and shapes. I’m inspired by all things in nature, which is why I paint wildlife, flowers, and landscapes.

My favorite scenes come from hiking through the deep forest and coming upon an opening or overlook. The forest opens up to a glorious view, a view that takes your breath away.
