I’ve always loved color. Color has energy for me, and when laying it on a white canvas magical things happen. Using vibrant oil pigments from the start creates the inner glow of my landscapes, taking them to an unexpected place. Orange curtains of color 

seen through trees, or flowing lavender water, pleases me. Rolling hills, stands of trees and meandering streams inspire my work, especially how they change as often as the sky. Capturing nature in its many forms is challenging yet satisfying once I have it right.

This kind of striving is why I paint. I hope one of my pieces takes your mind's eye on a journey. Enjoy.
