I have always been calmed by drawing. As a child, my mother would send me to my room to “Draw something” when she needed me to calm down.

This eventually turned into a love of artistic endeavors including
plein air drawing, printmaking and mixed media works.

Currently I go out into the woods and draw among the trees that
inspire me. It helps me find peace as a single mother of a special
needs child and feeds my need to create and be in nature.
