I am a visual artist here in Asheville.  I have explored various painting mediums and subject matter over the years and currently enjoy working with both acrylic and oil/cold wax painting mediums with a current fascination with abstract principles.  Playing spontaneously and following where the image wants to go is a pleasurable process of exploration and leads to many moments of surprise and even mystery.  One fellow artist at the gallery described these pieces as “eye candy.”  I’m good with that!
